The Orange Beach Middle & High School Band is proudly known as the Marching Makos. Just like the mako shark, our band embodies strength, precision, and a spirited commitment to excellence!
Our marching band dazzled at the Southeastern United States Marching Band Festival in Troy, AL, receiving all superior ratings. Our students also shone in individual recognition, with multiple members selected for the South Alabama Marching Honor Band and the Southeastern United States Honor Band at Troy University.
In concert settings, our band continues to impress, achieving all superior ratings at the Alabama Bandmaster’s Association Music Performance Assessment, highlighting our dedication to musical excellence. Among our standout students, one was honored with a selection to the Alabama All State Middle School Red Band, showcasing the depth of talent within our program.
