Volleyball
I am originally from Walker County, Alabama. I have served as an administrator and coached volleyball and softball most of my career at schools in Walker County with great success. I also coached at Corner High School before I moved to Gulf Shores in 2019. I taught and coached there until I made the move to Orange Beach in February of 2023.
I love coaching volleyball. It is the ultimate team sport. I enjoy watching young women reach their full potential on and off the court. Coaching volleyball has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I have made many great memories in a gym.
I have two adult children. Jakob Atkins is a realtor with Signature Properties and a recent graduate from The University of Alabama. Molly Kate is a student at South Alabama and I am very honored to have her as my assistant coach!
