Coach Austin Bragg is excited to begin his first year at Orange Beach High School. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, certified in Social Studies from Jacksonville State University. He comes to Orange Beach from Piedmont High School where he has served as the Boy's & Girl's Varsity Head Wrestling coach for the past three years. Prior to that, he served as the Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach for five years. Under his leadership, the program achieved historic success. He has qualified 41 wrestlers for the AHSAA State Tournament including 1 State Champion and 17 State Medalists, a Top 5 team finish in 2025, a Varsity Boy's Duals record of 126-28 and a Varsity Girl's Duals record of 23-6. He is married to his wife Melissa, and they have five children: Dylan, Clay, Jaiden, Mackenzie, and Christian. He is a Class of 2004 Piedmont High School graduate and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
