Each of the Following Documents are Needed for Registration:  (These can be brought to the school or emailed to the Registrar at kmesser@obcityschools.org.)

• Two Proofs of Residency for Orange Beach Address - Acceptable documents are:

a.  Residential Mortgage Contract

b. Current Lease or Rental Agreement for Housing

c. Proof of Payment of Residential Property Tax (Homestead)

d. Vehicle Registration bearing Applicant's Name and Address

e. Utility bill reflecting the most recent month's bill (water, gas, or electric, and combination counts as one proof, not two)

• Copy of Student's Birth Certificate
• Immunizations for Student
• Any Divorce/Custody Documents, if applicable
• Previous School Withdrawal Paperwork
• Parent/Guardian Photo Identification (This must be brought to the school.)
• Copy of Transcript or Last Report Card - We must have this before scheduling the student for classes. 

Once your paperwork is received, Mrs. Messer will share the Parent/Student Handbook, Truancy Information and Procedures, and Orange Beach Code of Conduct with you.

ALL documents and information are required before enrollment.

• Orange Beach City Schools serves students residing within the City Limits of Orange Beach, AL.
• ALL Non-Resident students who wish to attend Orange Beach City Schools must complete the Non-Resident Student Transfer Application each school year.
  • This includes Non-Resident students currently enrolled in Orange Beach City Schools.
• Non-Resident students applying for enrollment in Orange Beach City Schools will be subject to tuition and application fee based on the Orange Beach City Schools Non-Resident Student Policy.
  • As of the 2023-24 school year, tuition is $1500 per year, and the application fee is $100 per year.
• If the transfer is approved, tuition and fee must be paid in full prior to enrollment.
• Any Non-Resident student enrolled in Orange Beach High School in grades 9, 10, or 11 as of the 2021-2022 school year will have tuition/fee waived until they graduate or complete their high school career.
• Orange Beach City Schools will not provide transportation for Non-Resident students.
• Non-resident student transfer questions may be referred to the Director of Student Services, Joe Blevins (jblevins@orangebeachboe.org).

All seniors should request transcripts from the counselor's office.

All underclassmen and graduates should request transcripts via Parchment using this link.
